Don't keep transcripts or recordings

Turn on HIPAA mode so Juney doesn't record calls or keep a transcript once they end.

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Under Advanced settings, tap HIPAA mode.
  3. Turn on Don't keep transcripts or recordings.

The screen explains it plainly: "For health businesses. With this on, Juney keeps no transcript or recording of a call — you still see what every call was about and what she did." The one toggle reads "Each call's transcript is cleared once the call ends, and calls are not recorded."

Turning it on shows "From now on, transcripts and recordings are not kept." Turning it back off shows "HIPAA mode off." If saving fails for any reason, you'll see "Couldn't save. Try again." Tap Done to close the sheet.

What stays and what doesn't

  • You still get Juney's written summary of every call — HIPAA mode only removes the recording and the word-for-word transcript, not the note she writes you.
  • It applies forward only, from the moment you turn it on. Calls from before you switched it on keep their transcripts and recordings; nothing already saved is deleted retroactively.
