Dialzara alternatives: 6 options compared

The usual reasons to look past Dialzara are in its plans: its $29 plan runs out at 60 minutes and doesn't book, so a busy month means 48¢ a minute or a $99 plan, and every plan is run from a web dashboard. Which alternative fits depends on how many calls you take and how long they run.

At 75 two-minute calls a month, Dialzara costs $72.20 without booking, or $99 with it (October 2026). Below, six alternatives with what each would cost at that volume, who each suits, and the catch.

Why do people look for a Dialzara alternative?

Not because of its reviews, mostly. Dialzara has 4.2 out of 5 from 20 reviews on Trustpilot (October 2026), almost all five-star, praising easy setup, natural voices and helpful support. The one complaint there is about slow replies from support.

The reasons are in the plans. The $29 plan covers about 30 two-minute calls, then charges 48¢ a minute, and it has no calendar sync, warm transfers or Spanish. Those start at $99 for 220 minutes. Run out without auto-recharge and callers go to voicemail. Every plan is set up in a web dashboard, where you edit the AI's prompt yourself unless you pay for Elite or the done-for-you service.

When to stay with Dialzara: you take very few calls and only need messages, you need Outlook or Spanish, you want your number ported, or you'd use its texting agent, website chatbot or done-for-you setup.

The 6 alternatives

Juney: best for booking on the entry plan, run from a phone

Like Dialzara it counts minutes, but Google Calendar booking comes on its one plan rather than from $99: $49 a month for 150 minutes. A 75-call month is $49, where Dialzara's cheapest plan with booking is $99. Past the allowance you add top-ups in the app, $20 for 100 minutes that don't expire, where Dialzara's entry plan charges 48¢ a minute. Setup happens in a phone app with no prompt to write, and Ring me first rings you in the Juney app for about 15 seconds.

The catch: English only, Google Calendar only, and no porting.

Marlie: best for more minutes per dollar, on the web

Marlie is the closest per-minute match to Dialzara, with more time for the money: $49 a month for 250 minutes, then 35¢ a minute, so 75 calls cost $49 where Dialzara's entry plan comes to $72.20. At $99 it gives 500 minutes with booking and transfers, against Dialzara Pro's 220. It learns your business from your website or Google listing, and the trial lasts 14 days, a week longer than Dialzara's.

The catch: the entry plan neither books nor transfers, where Dialzara's at least puts callers through, and there's no app.

Rosie: best for spanish and an app at $49

Rosie answers in English and Spanish from its first plan, where Dialzara holds Spanish back until $99. That plan is $49 a month for 250 minutes, so a 75-call month stays at $49, and it adds spam detection, a website chat widget and a native iPhone and Android app beside the dashboard. When minutes run out it doesn't send callers to voicemail; it moves you up a plan.

The catch: the next plan is $149, which is also where calendar booking and transfers start.

Upfirst: best for long calls, billed per call

Upfirst counts calls where Dialzara counts minutes, so a ten-minute call costs the same as a one-minute one. It starts at $24.95 a month for 30 calls and books on every plan, into Google, Outlook, Calendly, Acuity, Square or Clio, so 75 calls with booking are $59.95 against Dialzara's $99. Spam, silent calls and calls under 15 seconds aren't billed. It lists 35+ languages, and its trial is 14 days.

The catch: there's no app either, and short calls cost as much as long ones.

Goodcall: best for unlimited minutes and repeat callers

Goodcall drops the minute meter altogether: it bills per different caller, at $79 a month for 100 different callers, so long calls never run down an allowance and send callers to voicemail. Someone who rings five times in a month counts once, and 75 calls from about 60 people cost $79, with Google Calendar booking included rather than held for a higher plan. Its transfers try up to three people, and it can answer missed calls through your carrier's no-answer forwarding.

The catch: a higher entry price than Dialzara, English only, and a demo agent instead of a timed trial.

Smith.ai: best for fewer than 25 calls a month, with a person on hand

Smith.ai undercuts Dialzara's $29 plan at the lowest volumes: its free plan covers 25 calls a month, with booking and call routing. It needs a card at signup, and charges for extra calls only once you switch overages on. With overages on it's per call, so 75 calls cost $150. Its Hybrid plans let live receptionists take some calls, and it answers in English and Spanish.

The catch: busy months get expensive, it's set up on the web, and its AI plans need 30 days' notice to cancel.

How do you switch from Dialzara?

  1. Look up last month's minutes in Dialzara's dashboard, then price each option at that volume.
  2. Start the new service's trial while Dialzara is still answering.
  3. Set it up and test it with calls of your own: a booking, a price question, an urgent job.
  4. If you ported your number to Dialzara, move it back to a carrier before you go, unless the new service takes ports. If you forward to Dialzara, just change where the forwarding points.
  5. Watch the first week's call notes and fix anything it got wrong.
  6. Cancel Dialzara. Its plans have no contract, and minutes you bought don't expire, so use them first.
