Your line

Take a break from Juney

Pause Juney by switching forwarding off, then bring her back with a real check that it's working again.

There's no timer and no pause button that quietly re-enables itself — pausing is really switching call forwarding off on your phone, and resuming is really switching it back on. Juney walks you through both.

Switch forwarding off

  1. Go to Settings, and under Your line tap Forwarding.
  2. Tap Just need a break? — "Pause her instead — calls ring straight through to you, nothing to undial."
  3. Tap Switch forwarding off.
  4. Open your iPhone's Settings → Apps → Phone → Call Forwarding and turn it off. If you don't see Call Forwarding, tap Don't see Call Forwarding? to reveal your carrier's off code instead, and dial that from your Phone app.
  5. Tap I've switched it off.

Calls now ring your own phone again. No call is placed to check this — Juney trusts that you've done it.

Switch forwarding back on

  1. Go to Settings → Your line → Forwarding, then tap Just need a break? again — it now opens as Juney is paused: "Calls are ringing your own phone. To put her back on, switch forwarding on again — the same way you went live."
  2. Follow the steps shown for your carrier — the same as switching on originally: copy the Juney number and paste it into Settings → Apps → Phone → Call Forwarding. This step also enables the button below it.
  3. Tap It's on — check my line. This button starts as Check my line and is greyed out until you've actually copied the number or dialled the code — it only reads It's on — check my line once you've done that. Tapping it runs a real check, the same one Test your line uses.
