I can't hear Juney on a test call
What to do if you can't hear Juney, or she can't hear you, on a test call.
This covers both the demo call during setup and Call her yourself in the Juney tab — they're the same real call.
Microphone access
- First time you're asked: if you say no, you'll see "Microphone access is needed to try the demo call." Tap the call button again to be asked a second time.
- If you've already said no before: you'll see "Juney needs microphone access for the demo call — enable it in Settings and try again." with an Open Settings button. Once your phone has permanently denied access, Juney can't ask again in-app — tap Open Settings, turn Microphone on for Juney, then come back and try again.
Can't hear her, or she can't hear you, once connected
Switch your audio output during the call — tap between speaker, earpiece and any connected Bluetooth or wired device.
"Could not connect to the demo call. Try again."
The call itself failed to connect, usually a connection issue. Check you're online and try again.
"Set up your line before testing a call."
You'll see this if your line hasn't finished setting up yet. Finish setting up Juney first (see Set up Juney), then try again.
Good to know
Test calls always get Juney's full answer, even outside your business hours — she doesn't run the voicemail script on a test call. To hear your voicemail greeting instead, open the Voicemail greeting screen and tap Hear it.
