My calendar won't connect, or Juney isn't booking
What to do if Google Calendar won't connect, or Juney isn't booking jobs.
Juney only works with Google Calendar today.
If it won't connect
- Open the Juney tab → under What she can do, tap Calendar, then Continue with Google.
- Choose the Google account that actually owns the calendar you want her to use.
- When Google asks for permission, allow access to your calendar — Juney can't book anything without it.
Real errors you might see:
- "Google Calendar isn't set up yet." Connecting isn't available right now — contact us.
- "Google Calendar connection failed — the sign-in didn't complete. Try again." The Google sign-in step closed before finishing. Try again.
- "Google Calendar connection failed — Google didn't grant offline access. Try again." You (or Google) stopped short of granting full access. Try again and make sure to allow everything Google asks for.
If it keeps failing after a few tries, disconnect (if it shows as partly connected) and connect again from scratch.
If she's connected but not booking
Work through these in order:
- Check the Juney tab → Calendar shows a connected Google account, not "Not connected".
- Check Books the job is switched on under What she does.
- Check the reason for that kind of call has the Books a job (or Changes their booking) action — see Set up a scenario. Only reasons with that action produce a real booking; everything else becomes a message.
- Check Who answers — Juney never books jobs while she's running the voicemail script.
- Check Books into is set to the calendar you're actually looking at, not a different one.
- Keep Checks when you're free switched on. Turning it off while Books/Moves/Cancels a job is on shows a warning — "Checking when you're free is off, so she could double-book you." — and bookings can clash with what's already in your calendar.
