Set up Juney

Create your account and set Juney up for your business, screen by screen.

Download Juney from the App Store on your iPhone and open the app. Setup runs as one continuous flow — you can't get lost, because each screen only leads to the next one.

1Create your account

  1. Tap Get started, then answer a few quick questions about your business.
  2. Create your account with Continue with Apple, Continue with Google or Continue with email.

If you choose email:

  1. Enter your email address and a password. Your password needs at least 8 characters, with a capital letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a symbol.
  2. Tap Send me a code. Juney emails a 6-digit code to that address.
  3. On the Check your email screen, enter the 6 digits. Verify and continue turns on once all 6 boxes are filled.
  4. If it doesn't arrive, tap Send a new code — this is greyed out with a countdown for 30 seconds after each send, so you can ask again once that runs out. Wrong address? Change it takes you back to fix the email.

If you signed up with Apple or Google, there's no code step — you go straight on.

2Tell Juney about your business

Juney introduces herself, then walks through a short set of screens to learn about your business:

  1. Your name. Enter your first and last name (at least 2 characters each).
  2. Link your website. Type your website address and tap Link website (this turns on once you've typed a few characters including a full stop). Juney reads your site — you'll see "Reading your website…" while she works. When she's done, you'll see the business name and address she found, and three ticks for what she picked up: hours (only if she found real listed hours), services and prices. Tap That's mine — continue.
    • Wrong result? Tap Not right? Search again.
    • No website, or she can't find it? Tap I don't have a website (or Can't find it — type it myself if the search failed). Enter your Business name (at least 2 characters) and, in What I should know, a few lines about what you do, your prices and your hours (at least 10 characters). Tap That's everything — continue.
    • This screen has a Skip link in the header. Skipping moves straight to voice, and Juney learns nothing about your business yet — you can fill it all in later.
  3. Pick her voice. Filter by accent and gender, tap play to hear each one, then tap a voice to select it. There's no Skip here — Continue only turns on once the voices have loaded. See Pick Juney's voice and speaking speed for the full picker.
  4. Connect your calendar (optional). Tap Connect Google Calendar and sign in. This screen also has a Skip link, which does the same thing as leaving it unconnected — you can connect a calendar later from the Juney tab.

If you linked a website, Juney keeps reading it in the background while you were on the last couple of screens. Next you'll see Here's what I've learned about your business, with a short "Adding knowledge" spinner — this can take up to a minute, so keep the app open. If you entered your business manually, or didn't link a website, this screen doesn't appear.

3Check what she learned

Each of these screens is prefilled from your website where possible, and each has a Skip link if you'd rather do it later:

  1. Business name — confirm or edit what she found.
  2. Hours — one text box per your opening hours; edit or type them in.
  3. Services — each service shows as a card with its name and a tappable price. A blank price shows as Custom pricing — tap it to add a real one, or leave it so Juney tells callers you'll confirm the price. Add more services with the inline Service / Price fields and Add. There's no separate skip here — Continue (or Skip) moves on with whatever's on the list, even if it's empty.
  4. Common questions — question-and-answer cards, prefilled from your website if she found any. Add more with Add a question.

4Set your greeting

Juney prefills a greeting for you to edit, something like: "Hi, you've reached your business — this is Juney. I can book you in, take a message, or answer a quick question. How can I help?" Edit it and tap Continue (or Skip to use the prefilled one as-is).

5Hear her in action

On Want to hear me in action?, tap the green Demo call button. You're now on a real call with Juney, exactly as a customer would hear her — with your greeting, voice, prices and what she's learned so far. You'll see a live transcript as you talk. This screen has a Maybe later skip link, which disappears once the call actually connects.

6Switch your line on

Tell Juney your business number and your carrier, then switch on call forwarding. See Switch your line on for the full steps.

7Choose where your notes go

Juney writes a note after every call. On the last screen, choose whether it's emailed to you, texted to you, or both — these start prefilled with the email you signed up with and the business number you just entered, and you can change either. Tap Continue, then tap Open Juney on the last screen to go into the app.
