What she knows

Set your business hours

Tell Juney when you're open, including public holidays and days you're away.

Juney only offers bookings inside your hours. Outside them she takes a message.

Your weekly hours

  1. Open the Juney tab.
  2. Under What she knows, tap Hours.
  3. For each day, type your hours in the text field, or tap Closed to mark the day closed. A closed day keeps its field visible but greyed out.
  4. Tap Save. You'll see "Hours saved".

Public holidays

Under Public holidays — the usual rule, choose what Juney does on a public holiday:

  • Closed: she says you're closed and takes a message.
  • Open as usual: public holidays run exactly like the same weekday.
  • Emergencies only: she only books genuine emergencies. Everything else becomes a message.
  • Shorter hours: she only offers the window you type in, for example "8:00–12:00".

Your public holidays are listed under The days it applies to. Tap any holiday to give it its own answer, different from the usual rule. To put it back, tap it again and choose Use the usual rule.

Add your own days off

For a shutdown, a week off or a day you're away:

  1. Under Days you've added, tap Add a day.
  2. Under What's it for, give it a name, for example "Christmas shutdown".
  3. Tap First day closed and pick a date.
  4. Optionally, tap Last day and pick an end date. Leave it as Same day for a single day.
  5. Under What she does on those days, choose Closed, Open as usual, Emergencies only or Shorter hours. For Shorter hours, type the window, for example "8:00–12:00".
  6. Tap Add day.

Juney treats your own days exactly like public holidays. To change one, tap it and then Save day. To remove one, delete it. You'll see "Day removed" with an Undo option.

Tap Save on the Hours screen when you're done.

Good to know

  • Juney uses your hours to answer "When are you open?" and, if you've set Who answers to follow your hours, to decide when callers get voicemail instead of her.
  • Your hours are read against your time zone, so make sure it's right in Settings → Time zone.

Error messages

  • "Name the day first": give your day off a name.
  • "Pick the first day": choose a start date.
  • "Pick a last day after the first one": the end date is before the start date.
  • "Set the shorter hours window" or "Type the window like 8:00–12:00": fill in the hours for Shorter hours.
  • "Couldn't save your hours. Try again.": the save failed. Check your connection and try again.
