Scenario examples
Ready-made scenarios you can copy for the calls most businesses get.
Use these as a starting point. Change the wording to match how your callers talk. To add one, see Set up a scenario.
Emergency
- Name: Emergency
- When they say something like: "It's an emergency", "Water's everywhere", "I've got no power", "It's urgent"
- Asks them: What's the address? Is anyone in danger right now?
- Puts them through: your mobile, or whoever is on call. Juney tells the caller she's connecting them.
New job or quote
- Name: New job
- When they say something like: "Can I get a quote?", "I need someone to come out", "How much do you charge for…"
- Asks them: What do you need done? What's the address? When suits you?
- Books a job: if your calendar is connected. Otherwise leave it as a message.
Change or cancel a booking
- Name: Change a booking
- When they say something like: "I need to move my appointment", "Can we do a different day?", "I have to cancel"
- Changes their booking: needs a connected calendar.
Booking online
- Name: Book online
- When they say something like: "Can I book online?", "Do you have a booking link?"
- Tells them: "I'll text you our booking link now."
- Texts them a link: your online booking page
Suppliers and sales calls
- Name: Supplier or sales
- When they say something like: "I'm calling from…", "I'd like to speak to whoever handles purchasing", "We supply…"
- Tells them: "Thanks, I'll pass your details on and someone will be in touch if they're interested."
- Takes a message: their name, company and number.
Existing customer with a question
- Name: Question about a job
- When they say something like: "You did some work for me", "I have a question about my invoice", "Following up on…"
- Asks them: What's your name? What's it about?
- Takes a message: so you can call back with the right answer.
