Rosie Review 2026: Hey Rosie Pricing, Plan Catches and Who It Suits

A Rosie (Hey Rosie) review for 2026: Rosie AI receptionist pricing at real call volumes, the plan catches, what app users say and who it suits.

TL;DR

  • Rosie (heyrosie.com) is an AI receptionist with a web dashboard and an iPhone and Android app, from $49 a month for 250 minutes (as of October 2026).
  • Calendar booking and transfers start on the $149 plan. The $49 plan takes messages and texts callers a booking link.
  • Go over your minutes and Rosie moves you up a plan, where you stay until you move back. At 126 two-minute calls a month, that's $149.
  • It suits US and Canadian businesses that mostly need messages taken, in English or Spanish.

We haven't used Rosie ourselves. This review is built from Rosie's own pricing, help and terms pages, its App Store and Google Play listings, and a search for public reviews, all checked on 22 October 2026. We've tried to give Rosie credit where its own pages earn it.

How much does Rosie cost in 2026?

As of October 2026, Rosie has three plans from $49 to $299 a month, each with a pool of minutes. There's a 7-day free trial, and paying yearly gets two months free (Scale is $1,490 a year). Rosie doesn't sell extra minutes: going over moves you to the next plan.

PlanPrice a monthMinutes includedWhat the plan adds
Professional$49250Message taking with 2 scenarios, booking links by text, spam detection, a website chat widget
Scale$1491,000Booking straight into your calendar, warm and live transfers, texts to callers during the call, 5 scenarios
Growth$2992,000Transfers that try several numbers in turn, training from your own documents, white-glove onboarding, priority support

Every plan includes the iPhone and Android apps, English and Spanish on every call, 10+ voices, call summaries, transcripts and recordings, email and text notifications, and a Zapier connection. Website texting is a $50 add-on with 25 conversations a month, then $1 each. Source: Rosie's pricing page, checked 22 October 2026.

Rosie's terms of service (last updated 5 February 2026) say minutes are billed in whole minutes, with each call rounded up to the next minute. A call of 1 minute 10 seconds uses 2.

What would Rosie cost at your call volume?

At 30 or 75 two-minute calls a month Rosie costs $49, and at 150 calls it costs $149, on the cheapest plan for each month. If you need calendar booking or transfers, it's $149 at every volume below 500 calls. These are October 2026 prices, before tax and carrier charges.

Calls a month (2 minutes each)Rosie, cheapest planRosie with booking and transfersJuney
30 (60 minutes)$49 (Professional)$149 (Scale)$49
75 (150 minutes)$49 (Professional)$149 (Scale)$49
150 (300 minutes)$149 (Scale)$149 (Scale)$89

How the edges work out:

  • Up to 125 calls: 250 minutes covers 125 two-minute calls, so Rosie stays at $49. Juney is $69 at 100 calls and at 125, because its 150 minutes run out sooner and one $20 top-up covers the next 100.
  • 126 calls: one call past 250 minutes moves you to Scale, so the month costs $149. Juney is $89 ($49 plus two $20 top-ups).
  • Short calls still round up. If most of your calls last just over a minute, each one counts as 2 minutes on Rosie.

So Rosie costs less than Juney between about 76 and 125 calls a month, as long as you don't need booking or transfers. It costs less again from about 326 to 500 calls, where Scale's 1,000 minutes for $149 undercut Juney's top-ups, booking and transfers included: Juney is $149 at 325 calls and $229 at 500. Past 500 calls Rosie moves you to Growth at $299, and Juney is lower again until about 675 calls. The same method runs across ten services in AI answering service pricing compared.

What to do: check last month's call count and the length of your longest week. If a busy month could pass 250 minutes, price Rosie at $149.

What catches are in Rosie's plans?

The main catch is the gap between the $49 and $149 plans. As of October 2026, the $49 plan answers, takes messages and texts callers a booking link, but booking straight into your calendar, putting callers through and texting them during the call all start at $149. The rest are worth knowing before you start the trial:

  • The move-up sticks. Rosie's terms say that when you go over, it "will automatically upgrade" you, and you stay on the higher plan "unless and until" you downgrade. One busy month can raise every month after it until you change it back.
  • Its own pages disagree on minutes. Some of Rosie's solutions pages still say all plans come with unlimited minutes. Its terms explain why: that was an older plan for customers who joined before 5 February 2026. New plans have the 250, 1,000 and 2,000 minute pools.
  • The trial turns into a subscription. Unless you cancel before it ends, the trial converts to a paid plan, and the terms rule out refunds or credits for part-used periods.
  • Canceling doesn't switch off your forwarding. Your carrier sends calls to Rosie until you turn forwarding off yourself. One App Store reviewer found that after canceling, "when customers call it says there is a problem with your Rosie subscription". That's true of any service that works by call forwarding, Juney included.
  • US and Canada only. Rosie's terms permit use in the United States and Canada only.

What to do: set a reminder for day 6 of the trial, and turn call forwarding off at your carrier the same day you cancel any answering service.

What does Rosie do well?

Rosie ties with Marlie for the most minutes at $49 among the services we've compared, and it has a real phone app. As of October 2026, from its own pages and store listings:

  • 250 minutes for $49. That's 100 more than Juney's 150, which matters if you mostly need messages taken.
  • A phone app on every plan. Its App Store listing says you can "train and customize your AI receptionist directly from your phone" with a guided mobile setup, alongside an inbox for calls and texts, alerts, recordings and team management.
  • English and Spanish on every call, with 10+ voices to choose from.
  • More calendars on Scale. Rosie books into Google Calendar, Calendly, Acuity and Appointlet.
  • Warm transfers. On Scale, Rosie briefs the person before connecting the caller, and Growth tries several numbers until someone picks up.
  • Spam detection and website chat on every plan.
  • A guide for both forwarding setups. Rosie's call-forwarding guide covers forwarding all calls and conditional forwarding when you want your phone to ring first.

Where does Rosie fall short?

Rosie's weak spots are the $149 gate on booking and transfers, the move-up billing, and its reach: it's for the US and Canada only. For a tradesperson who books jobs, the gate matters most.

  • Booking costs $149. A plumber or electrician who wants jobs booked while they're on the tools pays three times the entry price, whatever their call volume.
  • No pay-as-you-go minutes. Going over by a few minutes costs $100 more that month, and the next.
  • Two countries. Businesses in the UK or Australia can't use it.
  • Your carrier controls the wait. Rosie has no ring setting of its own for answering first. Its help says conditional forwarding isn't available on every carrier, Live Voicemail can prevent unanswered calls reaching Rosie, and Xfinity users cannot adjust the ring time (as of October 2026). Turn off Live Voicemail if you use conditional forwarding and test by letting a call ring out.
  • A thin public record. Twenty-two app-store ratings and no Trustpilot reviews is a small sample for a service that says 2,000+ small businesses use it.

What to do: on the trial, call your own number from another phone with a job you'd want booked, and see what the $49 plan does with it.

What do Rosie's users say?

Public reviews are few and split. On 22 October 2026, the App Store listing showed 3.5 stars from 11 ratings, and the Google Play listing 4.9 stars from 11 reviews, with more than 1,000 downloads.

Three of the four written App Store reviews are five stars. One owner calls it "Good for after hours after I leave the shop". The one-star review is the cancellation problem above. Rosie's Trustpilot page is unclaimed with no reviews, and G2 and Capterra blocked our requests, so we haven't used them. A couple of dozen ratings can't tell you how Rosie handles your calls; the free trial can.

Who is Rosie a good fit for?

Rosie fits a US or Canadian business that mostly needs calls answered and messages taken, with a steady volume under 125 calls a month, or a busy line of about 325 to 500 calls a month on Scale. It also suits owners with Spanish-speaking callers, or who book in Calendly or Acuity and can pay $149. As of October 2026:

  • Message-taking at a steady volume: 250 minutes for $49 covers more calls than Juney's plan.
  • Spanish-speaking callers: both languages on every plan.
  • Booking in Calendly, Acuity or Appointlet: all on Scale.
  • About 326 to 500 calls a month: Scale's 1,000 minutes for $149 cost less than Juney, with booking and transfers.
  • A team that shares the calls: the app has team permissions.

It's a weaker fit if you need jobs booked on a budget, if your call volume swings from month to month, or if you're outside the US and Canada.

When is Juney a better fit, and when isn't it?

Juney fits an owner-operator, especially in the trades, who wants jobs booked into Google Calendar and urgent callers put through without paying for a higher plan, all set up and run from a phone app. Rosie fits better if you want more message-taking minutes for $49, Spanish, or a calendar other than Google. The side-by-side detail is on Juney vs Rosie.

As of October 2026, Juney is $49 a month, or $490 for a year paid upfront, with 150 minutes a month, then top-ups of 100 minutes for $20, bought in the app. Booking into Google Calendar and putting callers through come on that plan, and a 7-day free trial includes 50 answering minutes. There's no setup fee and no contract.

The differences that matter most:

  • Booking and transfers at $49. Juney books, moves and cancels jobs in Google Calendar and puts urgent callers through to a second number you choose, such as a partner's mobile, after telling whoever answers who's calling.
  • Top-ups, not a bigger plan. Past 150 minutes you buy top-ups of 100 minutes for $20 in the app, and they don't expire. If you run out without one, Juney stops answering until you top up or your minutes renew; she never moves you up a plan.
  • You can answer in the app. Turn on Ring me first and the Juney app rings you for about 15 seconds. Answer and the call uses none of your minutes; let it ring out and Juney answers. Your carrier forwards all calls, so there's no conditional forwarding to set up.

Keep the Juney app signed in, allow notifications and use a data connection; if it can't be reached, Juney answers. Personal calls to that number are forwarded too, so add family or regular suppliers to Excluded contacts.

  • Four countries. Juney works with business numbers in the US, UK, Australia and Canada.
  • Its limits. Google Calendar is the only calendar it books into. It speaks English, with American, British or Australian voices. It handles calls: it texts callers booking links and follow-ups, but customers' own texts still come to you. There's no automatic spam screening (you block numbers by hand) and no team accounts yet.

Juney is built by Trillet, the voice AI platform trusted by over 4,000 businesses. Plans and the trial are on Juney's pricing.
