My AI Front Desk Review 2026: Frontdesk Pricing and Who It Suits
A My AI Front Desk review for 2026: what Frontdesk costs at real call volumes, what its credits and limits mean, and who this AI receptionist suits.

TL;DR
- Frontdesk (formerly My AI Front Desk) is a web-based AI receptionist bundled with chat, texting and a CRM: $99 a month, or $79 billed annually, for 200 voice minutes (October 2026).
- Past 200 minutes, calls draw 25¢ a minute from a monthly credit pool, then $10 top-ups.
- At 75 two-minute calls it's $99; Juney is $49. At 150 calls, $119 against $89.
- It suits offices that will use the chat, texting and CRM. Check the 200-log history limit.

We haven't used Frontdesk ourselves. This review is built from Frontdesk's own pricing page, help center and terms, a search of the App Store and Google Play, and its public reviews on Trustpilot and Capterra, all checked on 22 October 2026. Frontdesk does several things Juney doesn't, and we say which.
How much does Frontdesk (My AI Front Desk) cost in 2026?
As of October 2026, Frontdesk has one self-serve plan, Business-in-a-Box: $99 a month, or $79 a month billed annually (20% off, paid upfront). Its old $20 Basic plan is gone. Bigger accounts move to custom Partner or Enterprise pricing.
The plan is a bundle. Each month it includes:
| Included each month | Business-in-a-Box |
|---|---|
| Voice minutes (phone calls and website voice) | 200 |
| Website chatbot conversations | 100 |
| Texts sent | 400 |
| Email drafts | 500 |
| Outbound calls | 20 a day |
| Website form submissions | 300 |
| Overage credit pool (expires monthly) | 1,000 credits ($10 worth) |
| Agent actions, such as transfers and texts | 2 of each |
| Notification recipients | 3 |
| Editor seats | 2, plus unlimited view-only |
| Call and conversation history kept | Last 200 logs |
Past the allowances, usage is paid in credits worth 1¢ each: 25 credits a voice minute ($0.25), 4 a text and 5 a chat. They come first from the plan's 1,000-credit pool, which covers about 40 extra voice minutes and expires at the end of each month, then from auto-reload top-ups of $10 for 1,000 credits, which never expire. There's a 7-day free trial and no contract. Source: Frontdesk's pricing page, checked 22 October 2026.
What would Frontdesk cost at your call volume?
At 30, 75 or even 120 two-minute calls a month, Frontdesk costs $99, because the 200 minutes plus the credit pool cover up to 240 minutes. At 150 calls it's $119. These are October 2026 prices before tax and carrier charges, assuming the credit pool isn't spent on extra texts or chats first.
| Calls a month (2 minutes each) | Frontdesk | Juney |
|---|---|---|
| 30 (60 minutes) | $99 | $49 |
| 75 (150 minutes) | $99 | $49 |
| 120 (240 minutes) | $99 (pool covers 40 minutes) | $69 |
| 150 (300 minutes) | $119 (pool plus two $10 top-ups) | $89 |
How the less obvious ones work out:
- Frontdesk at 150 calls: 100 minutes over. The pool covers 40, and the other 60 take two $10 top-ups of 40 minutes each, leaving about 20 minutes of credit for later months.
- Juney at 120 and 150 calls: $49 for 150 minutes, then top-ups of 100 minutes for $20, bought in the app, which don't expire: one top-up covers the extra 90 minutes ($69), and two cover the extra 150 ($89).
On calls alone, Frontdesk costs more than Juney at every volume in the table. The gap narrows if you'd otherwise pay separately for a website chatbot, two-way texting or a CRM, because those come in Frontdesk's $99. Ten services are worked through the same way in AI answering service pricing compared.
What to do: list the parts of the bundle you'd really use. If it's only call answering, price Frontdesk as a $99 answering service.
What catches are in Frontdesk's plan?
The catches are in the limits behind the bundle and the trial terms. As of October 2026, from Frontdesk's own pricing page, help center and terms:
- History is capped at 200 logs. The plan table says you can look back over the last 200 call logs, chats and interactions. At 150 calls a month, plus chats and texts, that's little more than a month of history. Longer retention is a custom option.
- The credit pool is shared and expires. Extra texts and chats draw on the same 1,000 credits as extra voice minutes, and unused pool credits vanish at the end of each month.
- Two of each action. The plan lists agent actions, such as putting a call through or sending a text, as "2 of each", so plan your transfer rules around that.
- The trial isn't entirely free of charges. The pricing page says no credit card is needed, but Frontdesk's terms say usage fees still apply during a free trial and the subscription starts automatically afterwards on your payment method. Refunds are "generally not provided".
- More languages can mean a higher tier and a prompt. The pricing page lists 20+ languages, while the help center says some tiers can't select several languages, and that callers then hear a language choice before the call starts. It also quotes a dashboard notice that "90% of callers hang up" at that prompt.
What to do: before the trial ends, check your credit balance and billing settings, and export any call history you want to keep.
What does Frontdesk do well?
Frontdesk's strength is breadth: phone, website chat, two-way texting, a CRM and follow-up automations in one account for $99. Several of these are things Juney doesn't offer. From its own pages, as of October 2026:
- One bundle for every channel. The AI that answers calls also runs a website chat widget, holds two-way text conversations and logs everyone in a built-in CRM.
- Flexible transfers. Like Juney's, its "hot" transfers whisper a handoff to the person picking up and bring the AI back if nobody answers. Unlike Juney's, they can also try backup numbers in turn and ring several numbers at once.
- Built-in booking. Its calendar takes bookable services and your availability, syncs with Google Calendar, and offers a booking link customers can use themselves.
- Many languages. The help center lists more than 40, with a separate voice for non-English calls.
- Fast start and a test area. It claims setup in under 5 minutes, and a Playground lets you test the receptionist by voice or phone before going live.
- Room for a team. Two editors plus unlimited view-only seats. The help center says a customer success manager is assigned to your account and named on your dashboard.
Where does Frontdesk fall short?
For an owner-operator who mainly wants calls answered, Frontdesk's weak spots are price, the dashboard, and limits that suit an office more than a van. Its public reviews are also mixed.
- $99 for calls alone. If you won't use the chat, texting or CRM, you're paying $99 a month for an answering service, about twice Juney's $49.
- No phone app. We searched the App Store and Google Play on 22 October 2026 and found only unrelated apps with similar names. After signup you land in a web dashboard to configure, test and go live.
- Not built around the trades. Its industry pages center on property management, retail and therapy practices, and many of its customer stories come from property management.
- Short history and few actions. The 200-log history and two actions of each kind are tight for a busy line.
What to do: on the trial, change one answer and one transfer number from your phone's browser, the way you would between jobs, and see how it goes.
What do Frontdesk's customers say?
Public reviews are few and split. On 22 October 2026, Frontdesk's Trustpilot page (listed as Frontdesk AI) showed a TrustScore of 3.4 from 19 reviews: 58% five-star and 21% one-star. Capterra listed one review of My AI Front Desk, too few to read anything into.
Positive 2026 reviews praise easy setup and professional call handling, under titles such as "Great service and very easy to set up". Negative ones are mostly about support, billing and the sales process, under titles such as "No Support. No Refund. Mediocre Platform." One reviewer says the trial required a credit card, which doesn't match the pricing page. Trustpilot showed no recent history of Frontdesk inviting reviews.
Reddit has a few first-hand accounts from 2025, from before the rename. One owner who trialed several services says it does a great job on the phone but doesn't connect to their CRM; another, who had just signed up, wanted something simple that works out of the box.

Who is Frontdesk a good fit for?
Frontdesk fits an office-based business that wants phone, website chat, texting and a simple CRM from one AI, and has someone at a desk to run it. Property managers are its clearest audience. As of October 2026:
- You'd use the whole bundle: chat, two-way texting and follow-up sequences replace tools you'd otherwise pay for.
- Transfers need to be thorough: backup numbers and ringing several people at once.
- Callers speak other languages: more than 40 are listed, on a plan that supports them.
- A small team shares the account: two editors and unlimited viewers.
It's a weaker fit for a solo tradesperson who mainly needs calls answered, wants to run it from a phone, or wants a full history of calls on a busy line.
When is Juney a better fit, and when isn't it?
Juney fits an owner-operator in the trades who mainly needs calls answered, jobs booked into Google Calendar and urgent callers put through, all set up and run from a phone app. Frontdesk fits better if you want website chat, two-way texting, a CRM or several languages in the same subscription. The side-by-side detail is on Juney vs Frontdesk.
As of October 2026, Juney is $49 a month, or $490 for a year paid upfront, with 150 minutes a month, then top-ups of 100 minutes for $20, bought in the app. Booking into Google Calendar and putting callers through come on that plan. You start with a 7-day free trial and 50 answering minutes, and there's no setup fee and no contract.
The differences that matter most:
- Set up on the phone. Juney is an iPhone and Android app with no web dashboard. You link your website, check what Juney learned, hear it on a test call, set what happens for each kind of call, and follow the forwarding steps for your carrier. Every call comes back to the app as a summary and transcript.
- Ring me first, if you choose. In Ringing mode, choose Ring me first and the Juney app rings you for about 15 seconds. Answer it and the call is yours, using none of your minutes; let it ring out and Juney answers.
- Its limits. Juney books into Google Calendar and no other calendar. It speaks English, with American, British or Australian voices, and works with business numbers in the US, UK, Australia and Canada. It handles calls: it texts callers booking links and follow-ups, but customers' own texts still come to you. There's no website chat, no CRM, no team accounts yet and no human backup.
Juney is built by Trillet, the voice AI platform trusted by over 4,000 businesses. Plans and the trial are on Juney's pricing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do texts and chats use the same credits as calls?
Yes, once their allowances run out. As of October 2026, the plan includes 400 texts and 100 chat conversations a month. Past those, each text uses 4 credits and each chat 5, from the same 1,000-credit monthly pool that pays for extra voice minutes at 25 credits a minute.
How much call history does Frontdesk keep?
The last 200 logs. Frontdesk's pricing page (October 2026) says that's how many past call logs, chats and interactions you can look back on, and longer retention is a custom option. Export anything you want to keep.
How much is Frontdesk billed annually?
$79 a month, paid upfront for the year, which is 20% off the $99 monthly price (October 2026). That's $948 a year. Its terms say refunds are "generally not provided", so try the monthly plan or the 7-day trial first.
Does Frontdesk have a mobile app?
We found no Frontdesk app on the App Store or Google Play on 22 October 2026, only unrelated apps with similar names. Frontdesk runs as a web app you can open in a phone's browser.
